Liverpool soccer star Michael Owen’s childhood home is up for sale, it emerged today.

Fans will be able to buy the five-bedroomed detached house in Cromwell Close, Hawarden, north Wales, as an ultimate souvenir of their footballing hero, for €277,000.

Owen lived at the house as a schoolboy and for a period after hitting the big time.

He then went on to buy an entire street of houses for himself and his family at nearby Ewloe.

He is due to move into a new manor house at Sychdyn, in Clwyd.
