The ice man cometh to Charlton

Charlton have confirmed on their official website that they have agreed a fee and are in talks with a view to signing Ipswich defender Hermann Hreidarsson, but denied the deal had gone through.

A move to The Valley would see a return to south London for the Icelandic international, who joined Crystal Palace in 1997 and then Brentford and Wimbledon before moving to Ipswich.
