Republic of Ireland boss Brian Kerr today passed on messages of support to Robbie Keane following the death of his father.

The Tottenham striker played in last night’s Barclaycard Premiership defeat to Bolton at the Reebok Stadium and was scheduled to travel to Dublin today where preparations are under way for the games against Georgia and Albania.
