Houllier admits United gulf

If Liverpool win the Worthington Cup tomorrow, it does not mean they are better than Manchester United, according to Gerard Houllier.

As the Anfield boss attempts to win his third domestic cup in three seasons, he insists: “Even if we beat them in a cup competition, it doesn’t mean we are better. I think they are better than us, it’s as simple as that.”
