Keane ends his international career

Roy Keane tonight brought a premature end to his international career at the age of 31 in a bid to extend his playing days at the top of the domestic game.

There had be much speculation the Manchester United midfielder would return to the Irish squad p following the appointment of new manager Brain Kerr.
