Charlton lose appeal for Chelsea replay

The Premier League board has ruled that the result from Chelsea v Charlton game on January 11 stands despite protest over pitch.

Chelsea won the game but Charlton had protested that the game be replayed because of the condition of the pitch - which many commentators had said was as sandy as a beach.
