Houllier not in charge today due to illness

Gerard Houllier will not be in charge of Liverpool in the lunchtime Premiership match at home to Middlesbrough, because he is suffering with gastro-enteritis.

The Liverpool manager was taken ill on Friday night at the team hotel and was diagnosed by a doctor.
