Leeds wanted me, says Lazaridis

Birmingham’s Australian winger Stan Lazaridis has confirmed Leeds tried to sign him during last month’s transfer window – but he insists he would consider such a move only if he was not offered a new contract at St Andrews.

Lazaridis was the target of a possible swap deal with Leeds defender Michael Duberry.
