FA investigate Henchoz spitting incident

The Football Association have written to Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock and Stephane Henchoz in the wake of spitting allegations made against the Liverpool defender.

Warnock had to be restrained by Liverpool coach Sammy Lee following his side’s defeat in the second leg of their Worthington Cup semi-final at Anfield on January 21, with the Blades boss shouting at Henchoz and demonstrating to Jamie Carragher that he believed he had been spat at.
