Andy Cole has branded recent criticism of former team-mate Ryan Giggs ‘embarrassing’.

Giggs has been the victim of mixed support from the Old Trafford stands in recent times, with some fans claiming it would be better if the Welsh winger quit the club and accepted the offer of a lucrative contract apparently on offer from Inter Milan.
