City turn to Van Hooijdonk - report

Kevin Keegan and Manchester City are in talks with Pierre van Hooijdonk, according to newspaper reports.

City boss Kevin Keegan has turned to the controversial Dutch striker after failing to land Leeds' Robbie Fowler.

City officials held weekend negotiations with the 33-year-old's agents about a possible move to the Premiership.

Van Hooijdonk is free to speak to interested parties as his contract at current club Feyenoord runs out at the end of the season.
