Drogheda ease relegation worries with win

Drogheda United's hopes of playing Premier Division football next season received a boost last night.

Harry McCue's side beat runners-up Shelbourne 1-0 at Tolka Park. Andy Meyler's penalty on 53 minutes proved enough to give the visitors all the points.

They now need to beat St Pats on Sunday to have any chance of avoiding a relegation play-off.
