Manchester United and Chelsea both chalked up handsome victories today to keep the pressure on Barclaycard Premiership leaders Arsenal.

With the Gunners playing tomorrow, United moved to within two points of the top of the table thanks to a 3-1 win at West Brom – while Chelsea, who won 4-1, proved too good for Charlton at Stamford Bridge.
