Belmadi likely to start on bench

New signing Djamel Belmadi is likely to start on the bench in Manchester City's hame game against Leeds.

Steve Howey (Achilles) and Richard Dunne (virus) are set to return, but Danny Tiatto (groin) is still a week away from full fitness.

Leeds have no fresh injury worries. The only long-term casualties are Nick Barmby and Michael Bridges.

But the club are now short of midfield cover following the departures of Olivier Dacourt and Lee Bowyer to Roma and West Ham respectively.
