Butt reveals injury frustration

Nicky Butt has admitted he felt like ’hanging himself’ in frustration over the ankle injury which has wrecked his season.

The 27-year-old is targeting a return to full training next Monday after enduring a longer-than- expected recovery period from the injury he suffered in the Premiership win over Everton at the beginning of October.
