Chelsea challenge Cudicini red card

Claudio Ranieri said Chelsea would be appealing against the red card handed out to goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini during their 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round.

The Blues were leading by Mario Stanic’s 38th-minute goal when a tame tie exploded into life with Cudicini’s controversial dismissal after 62 minutes.
