Robson includes Dyer for Bolton trip
Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer is included in an 18-man squad for the Boxing Day trip to Bolton after escaping unhurt when he crashed his Ferrari into the city’s Swing Bridge.
Manager Sir Bobby Robson has no fresh injury concerns, with Olivier Bernard (knee) and Titus Bramble (hamstring) back in training.
However, 19-year-old midfielder Hugo Viana will be out of action for up to 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on his dislocated shoulder in Portugal last Friday.
