Bertie on Euro 2008 bid

A spokesman for An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has revealed that the Government cabinet signed off on a document guaranteeing the completion of Stadium Ireland.

The document will form part of the joint Irish/Scottish Euro 2008 bid and will also ease the pressure on the GAA to open up Croke Park.
