Burley interested in Dons post
Former Ipswich manager George Burley has expressed his interest in the vacancy at Aberdeen.
The ex-Scotland international will join Bruce Rioch, Steve Paterson and current caretaker boss Gardner Speirs among the names being considered by the Pittodrie board to succeed Ebbe Skovdahl.
Burley told the Scottish Daily Express: “Aberdeen are a very big club and I would welcome the chance to speak to them.
“I’ve had a bit of a breather after being in management for 11 years and I’m keen to get back into the game.
“I am completely open-minded. I have spoken to a few people but I have to make sure everything is right for me before I rush back into anything.
“Aberdeen are a good club with an impressive European pedigree and I’d be interested in talking to them if they thought I was the right man for the job.”
