Longford and Drogheda draw a blank
Longford Town 0, Drogheda United 0 (full-time)
Drogheda will be the happier with the point as Longford's run without a win stretched to eight games.
Town created all the best chances but, once again, they struggled in front of goal as they drew a blank for the sixth time in seven games - and the fourth home game in a row in which they've failed to score.
Alan Kirby hit a post on 10 minutes while Vinny Perth did likewise after good work by Darragh Sheridan just before the interval.
Again Town missed openings in the second half with Paddy Mulvihill coming closest on 65 minutes when forcing a good stop from Drogheda keeper Gary Rogers.
