Houllier hopeful over Reds duo

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier is optimistic Emile Heskey and Vladimir Smicer will shake off injuries in time for Saturday’s trip to face Charlton at The Valley.

Heskey, linked with a move to Tottenham today which was described as “totally rubbish” by Houllier, will be given a late fitness test on his ankle.
