Andy Myler scored twice as cash-strapped Drogheda continued their revival.

Mark Dempsey shot Drogheda into a 36th minute lead.

Myler then hit his first from a 67th minute penalty after Sean Hargan had taken him down before sealing the win eleven minutes from the end.

Ciaran Martyn had pulled one back for Derry after a Tommy McCallion shot was parried by Gary Rogers.
