Henchoz back in training at Liverpool
Stephane Henchoz is ready to return to training at Liverpool after missing eight games after groin surgery.
He will rejoin the rest of Gerard Houllier's squad in full training on Thursday but will not be considered for Saturday's Premiership trip to Fulham.
Next week's Uefa Cup third round first leg fixture against Vitesse Arnhem is a more realistic comeback target.
Houllier, who has been without his key defender since he was substituted in the home win over Chelsea six weeks ago, told the club's official website: "Stephane will definitely be joining the rest of the team in full training tomorrow.
"It will be good to have him back, although I must say Djimi Traore has been excellent. I don't think the defence has been a problem for us."
The club have also learned that midfielder Patrik Berger could be back in action within a fortnight after twisting his knee in a reserves match this week.
Berger had a scan which revealed no serious damage.
