Ferguson set to move for Fowler

Robbie Fowler and Olivier Dacourt are the latest being linked with moves away from Elland Road.

Newspaper reports claim Fowler is being lined up by Manchester United in a £5million (€7.8m) deal, while Dacourt is a top target of Italian giants Roma and Juventus.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may make the cut-price bid for Fowler when the transfer window opens in January.

Dacourt, meanwhile, is said to be reluctant to leave Leeds but may decide to move on due to his lack of regular first team football under Terry Venables.
