John fears lengthy lay-off

Birmingham City striker Stern John is bracing himself for the possibility of a lengthy spell on the sidelines after collecting a knee injury in Sunday’s Premiership clash with Fulham at St Andrews.

John is concerned that he may have aggravated a cartilage problem which ruled him out for a lengthy spell at his previous club Nottingham Forest.
