Friedel puts knee op on hold

Blackburn goalkeeper Brad Friedel will face Everton on Sunday at Ewood Park then have a knee operation to correct damaged ligaments.

Defender Martin Taylor could return to the side after missing the UEFA Cup defeat by Celtic because of a hamstring injury.
