FA to improve Beck's security
The Football Association will help improve security surrounding England captain David Beckham.
It follows weekend revelations of an alleged plot to kidnap the family of the Manchester United midfielder.
Football Association executive director David Davies told The Sun: “There are particular circumstances surrounding David because of his profile – and we would be foolish to ignore them.
“We had certain arrangements in place for him at the World Cup and we will look at the need to do similar things again.
“There is no such thing as guaranteed 100% security but you have to get as close as you can.”
