We might not make Europe admits Venables

Terry Venables says his Leeds squad may not be good enough to qualify for Europe next season.

After an impressive start to Venables' reign, Leeds have struggled to find their form and have won just once in five league games.

And he is in no doubt of the hard work which must be done if Leeds are to maintain their position as one of England's elite.

"Everybody would love to be in Europe year in, year out," he said.

"At the moment, the reality check is: maybe we can't. Hopefully we can, but some clubs have a better chance than others.

"I won't be shocked if the same three clubs are up at the top at the end of the season. The rest of us must do our damnedest to be up there with them."
