FA throws weight behind Eriksson

The Football Association have given their backing to England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson after the embarrassing 2-2 home draw with Macedonia.

The Swede's tactics came in for some criticism following the draw at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium, which followed a scrappy victory in Slovakia.
