Slovakia striker Szilard Nemeth has apologised to Emile Heskey and Ashley Cole for the racist abuse aimed at them by home fans during England’s European Championship qualifier in Bratislava.

Heskey and Cole were subject to disgraceful taunts from some of the 30,000 crowd every time they were involved in the action during England’s 2-1 win.
