Griffen withdraws from Northern Irish squad

Dundee United defender Danny Griffin today withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad to face Spain in a Euro 2004 qualifier on Saturday.

Griffin has returned home to get treatment on a back injury and will be replaced by Wrexham defender Shaun Holmes.
