Ankle injury may delay Ronaldo debut

Ronaldo has suffered a slight ankle injury in training and may not make his debut for Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Real will announce the squad for the Champions League game against Racing Genk on Tuesday.

Coach Vicente del Bosque said over the weekend that Ronaldo was almost ready to play again.

But the injury-prone player has made just one appearance - in Brazil's friendly with Paraguay on August 21 - since the World Cup final.

Zinedine Zidane will also miss the Champions League game - he has an inflamed right knee.
