Eriksson plans to blood new talent

England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has pledged to bring in some new faces when his side return to action for their first game since the World Cup in next month’s friendly against Portugal.

Preparations are starting for the European Championship qualifying campaign’s double-header against Slovakia and Macedonia in October and Eriksson is planning to freshen up the squad.
