Irish under-21 star John O’Shea is due to replace Rio Ferdinand in the Manchester United team for tomorrow night’s Champions League qualifier against Zalaegersezg in Budapest.

Ferdinand is expected to be back in the team for the Premiership opener against Chelsea.
