Wolves sign Irwin

Former Manchester United full-back Denis Irwin has agreed a one-year deal with Wolves.

The 36-year-old was released by United after 12 years at Old Trafford.

He will be unveiled at an 11.30am press conference at Molineux.

Wolves manager Dave Jones said: "I am pleased to have picked up such an accomplished player, whose pedigree is second to none."
