Ireland U19s too good for Belgium

The Irish under-19 team have beaten Belgium 2-1 in the opening match of the European Championships campaign in Norway.
Jonathan Daly opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 26 minutes before Tottenham’s Jonathan Blondel equalised for the Belgians six minutes after half-time.
Michael Foley eventually got the winner for Ireland with a long-range free-kick in the 69th minute.
In tonight’s other game, Germany and England drew 3-3, with the Germans coming back from a 3-1 deficit to earn a point.
