Kennedy may miss start of season

Irish midfielder Mark Kennedy could miss the start of the new football season in Britain because of the groin strain that kept him out of the World Cup.

The former Liverpool star has already been ruled out of Wolves’ pre-season trip to Portugal because of the injury.
