Fergie set to chase Nesta again

Alex Ferguson is set to switch his attention back to Alessandro Nesta after failing to sign Rio Ferdinand, it was reported today.

Terry Venables' arrival at Elland Road could have ended hopes Manchester United had of luring Ferdinand to Old Trafford, so now Nesta is back on top of Ferguson's wish list.

Lazio still owe United half of the fee for Jaap Stam, so United could snatch Nesta as part of a settlement.
