Ljungberg says hip op a success
Freddie Ljungberg has declared his hip operation a success and is expected to be back in action within three months.
The Arsenal player underwent exploratory surgery in Cambridge to repair a cartilage tear around his hip joint.
He said: "The injury could be less serious than we first thought.''
He told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet: "Just now I feel groggy and dazed and it hurts after the operation. But I know the pain will settle in the next few days.
"The operation was tough and it demands power and the right attitude to go through it."
