Brazil brought typical colour to an unorthodox trophy-giving ceremony after beating Germany 2-0 in the World Cup final in Yokohama.

In the moments after Ronaldo’s double strike had landed the South Americans their fifth world crown, the entire Brazilian players and coaching staff linked arms in a huge circle on the pitch.
