AFC Wimbledon elected to combined county league

AFC Wimbledon, the club founded by fans unhappy with Wimbledon Football Club’s move to Milton Keynes, have been elected to the Combined Counties League.

AFC Wimbledon, the club founded by fans unhappy with Wimbledon Football Club’s move to Milton Keynes, have been elected to the Combined Counties League.

The new club is owned by the Dons Trust, with Lord Faulkner, a founding member of the Wimbledon Supporters Trust.

Chairman and former Wimbledon favourite Terry Eames is director of football.
