Less pay for shorter season - Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger supports the call for a shorter Premiership season - but stresses players would have to take a pay cut.

Wenger was responding to England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson’s claim that because the English season was too long, his players had run out of steam in the World Cup quarter-final defeat to Brazil.
