Turkish star could go to Highbury

Arsenal target Emre Belozoglu could complete a move to Highbury before the end of the World Cup.

The 21-year-old Turkey midfielder made 13 appearances for Inter Milan last season and has been linked with the Gunners since spring.

His agent reckons Emre's impressive performances in the World Cup may have tempted Arsene Wenger to increase his interest.

Ahmet Bulut told Sky Sports: "Arsenal want Emre. They asked about his price before the World Cup.

"Inter said they wanted £11m (€17.1m) but I think they will now want more because Emre has played so well at the World Cup.

"I will go to Italy soon to discuss the transfer. In 10 days I feel we will know where Emre will play next season."
