Voller warns against complacency

Germany's Rudi Voller has warned his side they cannot afford to take the United States lightly when they meet in the World Cup quarter-finals on Friday.

Voller watched the Americans power to a 2-0 victory against Mexico and immediately warned his players they could not afford to be complacent, telling them to disregard a recent 4-2 friendly victory.

"We’re going to have to take our chances. No-one expected them to get this far and they’re really on a roll. The confidence is going to be high," Voller added.
