Quinn salutes young guns

Irish striker Niall Quinn has paid tribute to the next generation of stars after announcing his retirement from international football following yesterday’s defeat to Spain.

The 35-year-old frontman, who played a crucial role in Ireland’s World Cup campaign, has won 91 caps and scored 21 goals in his illustrious international career.
