Former England manager Glenn Hoddle has called on Sven-Goran Eriksson to play Teddy Sheringham from the start of the second round clash with Denmark.

Hoddle - whose England side crashed out at the same stage four years ago on penalties against Argentina - believes Sheringham will be the perfect foil for the pace of Michael Owen.
