But after undergoing treatment since Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland, the Kaiserslautern forward returned to full training today.

Defender Christoph Metzelder has also shaken off the effects of an ankle problem, and should be fit for the match in Yokohama in two days.
