Greek star set to join Celtic

Panathinaikos expect to lose Greek international Panagiotis Fissas to Celtic during the summer.

The Scottish champions have already begun moves to buy the 28-year-old left-sided international defender, according to the Greeks.

A club spokesman told the Scottish Daily Express: ‘‘Celtic have already spoken to our coach, Fernando Santos, and he is waiting for them to come back.

‘‘Fissas still has a year of his contract left but he has made it clear that he wants to go to Scotland.’’
