The Liverpool defender suffered a thigh strain in training and had a scan in Seoul.

That revealed a small rupture which will sideline for at least the USA clash.

The team doctor estimates Xavier will be sidelined for eight to 10 days making him doubtful for the game against Poland in Jeonju on June 10.
