Baggies chase Red Devils' Wallwork
West Brom have confirmed they are in talks to bring Manchester United midfielder Ronnie Wallwork to the club.
Albion boss Gary Megson is keen to strengthen his squad for an assault on the Premiership next season, and Wallwork, surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, is top of his wish list.
But Megson faces opposition from Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth for the 24-year-old midfielder's signature.
Albion chief executive John Wile said: "We've had a series of meetings with Ronnie's representatives and obviously other clubs are interested.
"But we will be speaking to his people again," he told the Express and Star.
